Tomorrow, September 25, 2012, is the scheduled closing date for Joe and my new home. I have been waiting for this date for a LONG time, over 2 weeks! That doesn't seem like that long but the original closing date was September 10th and that has since come and gone. So now we wait anxiously for tomorrow!
We were all set to close on September 10th but we had an intense hullabaloo with the seller first. Every great home story needs an amusing "this is how we got here story". I thought we had missed out on ours but oh no, we got ours too. Thankfully, I believe everything is settled now and we are ready to close.
The new home is a charming 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom townhome. Not the ultimate dream house by any means, but with a limited budget, this is what you get; this is the current dream. There will be more photos once I can take my own. The listing's photos aren't all that exciting. Here is the front at least.
So tomorrow is the big day. We have all sorts of plans, well I do at least, and Joe just goes along with them most of the time. I have the paint colors picked out, the chandeliers ready to order and Joe's uncle lined up to help us with our intense 4 days of painting. 3 days are taken off of work, Joe is off of school, and we are ready!
